CoralieBeatrix Infinity Dress- $139 and up (Etsy.com)
I got married this past summer and I cannot tell you how many hours I spent scouring the internet looking at wedding and bridesmaid dresses. I knew I wanted my entourage to wear dresses that they looked and felt amazing in, and most importantly, dresses that wouldn't burden them financially. I decided on 'infinity dresses' because I knew my girls could style the dress in a way they felt most flattered their body shape and change the style when they wanted to wear the dress again after the wedding.
I found CoralieBeatrix on Etsy and she custom crafts all of her orders based on measurements, colors and fabrics. I actually ended up ordering the dress pictured here and wore it as my reception dress, because my wedding dress was quite elaborate and heavy. The fabric was beautiful and soft and my dress was very well-made. I definitely recommend this Etsy shop for brides, bridesmaids, or anyone who wants a super comfortable and gorgeous dress for any occasion.
Aidan Mattox Sequin Gown - $420 (nordstrom.com)
There is no denying the class, glamour and glitz of a "Gatsby-esque" gown. The simple shape of this dress makes all of the beadwork and art deco styling really stand out and the champagne color is so much more flattering than stark white.
This dress is not only perfect for a wedding you could definitely wear it again for New Year's Eve, a 1920's party, or for a fancy night out. Talk about getting your money's worth!
Monique Lhullier designs some of the most gorgeous wedding gowns on the market right now, and they just happen to also be some of the most expensive! If you don't have $5000 to spend on a dress you will wear for a few hours for one day, why not opt for one of her bridesmaid dresses?
These gowns are just as breathtaking as her designs for the bride, but not as elaborate. This blush pink grecian gown is so romantic, airy and affordable.
BHLDN Lucca Maxi Dress
- $480
BHLDN has been releasing some of the prettiest gowns I have seen in a long time. All of their dresses are have a fresh and contemporary approach to bridal attire while still retaining traditional romantic elements.
The Lucca maxi shown here is categorized as a reception dress, but I see no reason why this beautiful gown couldn't walk down the aisle. Tulle, lace, embroidery and a satin ribbon make this dress perfect for a bride who loves a touch of whimsy.
With a top that features elaborate beading and a skirt made of delicate feathers, this Sue Wong design is for the bride that wants all eyes on her. I love the luxurious feel of this gown, it's like something you would see a silver screen starlet wear on the red carpet. It's a little vintage inspired, a little exotic and very dynamic.
I stumbled upon this dress while shopping at Nordstrom and knew immediately I had to have it. I get more compliments when I wear this lacy number, than any other garment in my wardrobe! It may not be what you picture a traditional bride wearing on her big day, but many brides are opting for more bohemian and alternative style dresses. It's made of gorgeous (and comfortable) stretch lace, has a beautiful low back and an interesting handkerchief hemline. This dress is sheer, but I think it would be pretty to experiment with different colored slips underneath, or you could just purchase a Free People slip to go with it. If cream isn't your cup of tea, the French Court Slip comes in seven other colors!
Vera Wang Sleeveless Lace Metallic Gown - $455
When you talk wedding gowns there is no way you can not mention Vera Wang. She is pretty much the Queen of wedding dress design! Her gowns can cost upwards of $20,000, and luckily there are a few styles that still remain affordable. This ethereal dress is elegant while still being effortless. The illusion lace neckline feels ladylike, the hourglass shape shows off curves and the slight metallic shine of the lace gives a little sparkle. Feminine perfection, exactly what a bride wants to be.
ERIN by Erin Fetherston Sleeveless Embroidered Lace Gown -$425
Brides come in all shapes and styles and luckily there is something out there for everyone. This dress may seem a little wacky, but I think it is absolutely divine. The amazing 3D embroidered lace stands out so much when paired with a darker satin dress underneath. The result is unique, playful and completely unforgettable. With simple hair and styling, this dress could be perfect for a bride who isn't afraid of making a fashion statement on her wedding day. Love it!
