The Get-Away-Car
One of the fun traditions associated with weddings is decorating the newlyweds' car. Even at a beach wedding, we love to see family and friends take the time, and sneaky planning, to send the couple off with their best wishes.
With a little forethought, there is ample time to accomplish decorating the vehicle undetected. If the couple is staying at the same location as the ceremony, for example a beachfront condo, the parked car is an easy target. The couple is busy getting ready and will not need to travel to their ceremony location. If the couple does need to travel to get to the ceremony location, the perfect time is during photography. After the ceremony, we go straight into photography, starting first with family, moving on to wedding party, and finally spending time with the couple alone. Our beach wedding photography lasts approximately one hour after the "I do's", plenty of time to surprise the Bride and Groom with a special send off.

There are many reasons couples choose to have a beach wedding. Some love the ocean, some don't want the hassle of a big wedding back home, and some are just adventurers at heart! Recently, when one couple asked if we would perform their beach wedding ceremony on Shell Island, we jumped at the chance.
Shell Island is an undeveloped barrier island located on the Gulf of Mexico just east of Panama City Beach. Only accessible by boat, you have to take a shuttle to and from the island. While, we didn't find too many shells the day we were there, the white sand and emerald green water are amazing. Spring or fall are perfect times of the year to visit this natural beauty.
Are you this adventurous?
