Pirates!

The beaches of Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast are known for many things, beautiful white sand, beach weddings, and festivals. There is always something fun going on at our beach communities. Pensacola Beach has an amazing Seafood Festival, Destin hosts a Fishing Rodeo, Sandestin sponsors a Wine Festival plus so much more!

One of our couples at Sunset Beach Weddings decided to coincide their beach wedding with Panama City Beach's Pirate Festival. Together we planned a lovely morning beach ceremony, leaving time for them to attend the Pirate Festival later that evening. All their guests were excited for the festival too and could be heard discussing plans as soon as the ceremony ended. During the photography session, something really special happened. A pirate boat sailed by the beach and fired off the cannon! Those were two happy newlyweds.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

It's a day of love! Even with the commercialism, it is nice to take a moment to think about our special people. Maybe we try a little harder after Valentine's to show each other how much we care. Here at Sunset Beach Weddings, we get excited for Valentine's day for many reasons, but one is that many couple's get engaged today!
